Unhappy Need your help friends! Stuck with 10mm bolt (front engine cover)

Working on cam swap and stuck for a second day at the point of removal the front engine cover. One bolt that hold the plate from underneath (pass. side, comes from oil pan) failed to get extracted. I put tons of diff. chemical sprays (literally writing under influence) on it, did some hammer work with a wrench but nothing. Frustrating as I wanted to accomplish everything during this long weekend. The bolt size is 10mm but right now it is more like 9.5mm. Trying to use "Irvin" grip bolt extractor but the 10mm tool is too big now and 9mm will not fit. I am trying to "tear" down that bolt using pliers and rasp (file). I used to get some good results in the past (headers install) using "Liquid wrench" so my next step is to get this spray, as well as continue my work using a file and pliers.

But I would appreciate any brilliant idea on how to get that bolt extracted asap.

P.S. have some photos but my affected brain fails to find a way on how to upload them.

Thanks friends and Happy Memorial Day!

If you can get one of those mini pipe wrenches like a 4 inch they usually will remove stripped headed bolts. Vice grips and channel locks destroy hex heads.
Not even sure if you can get it in there with the clearance.

thank you buddy but yep, 4in tube will not fit, the clearance is less than 3 in
heading to Home Depot to see if I can get some smaller pipe wrench.
Again, thanks for heads up!

Would help if you could post pics. You can try to heat it up with a torch or weld a nut to whats left of the head

Well, gonna ask about this wrench:

http://www.amazon.com/LoggerHead-Too...ols+BG6-01R-01

is there anyone who used this tool? Was it a good experience?

Still hesitant to use a torch as there is tight spot and a/c pipes and wiring.

Put more liquid wrench chemical overnight and have broken 2 sockets so far no luck.

Hope this wrench can help..

Something else you can try.... If you have a dremel, cut a slot in it and use a big screwdriver. That's a last resort as you can really diminish the head and lose the ability to grasp it at all.

If you have a welder, you can weld another bolt to it and use it to turn.
