Victory Red looks awfully dull on the 'build your own camaro' page. Is it really that bad in person? I built up a victory red one with plain unpolished wheels and it looks so boring, you wouldn't even noticed it going down the street. How accurate is that? Are they just trying to accentuate how shiny the polished wheels are, and how 'cool' the metallic paints are?

Not very accurate at all. Victory red is bright as can be. Now someone tell me what Inferno leather with silver ice exterior looks like? I'm having a real hard time visualizing it.

Either that's IOM or your camera is way off.

Yeah that second link convinced me, I like it. Now where can I get an aftermarket shift knob with a transformers logo on it, ideally an old school 'only shows when you heat it up with your hand' one :-D

Victory red is one of the most used and abused colors on the chevrolet color palette. Go outside find a newer red chevy and chances are your looking at victory red.

The inferno leather looks pretty good with thr SIM. I saw it at SEMA. The only photo i have dosn't show much of the exterior so it is difficult to get a sense of exactly how it looks.

Yea it was the cam. It's a new camera. I didn't set it right

I ordered a Victory Red 2LT RS on 10-13-08. I'm a red guy, love red cars. I like the Torch Red on my C5 Corvette a bit more than the Victory Red on my HHR... but it's growing on me. Torch Red has a bit more orange and Victory leans toward blue. Neither are as red as the the red on a Mazda. Haven't seen a VR Camaro in person, but guess I will when I pick it up.

I'm sure it won't be dull. Whenever I think of Camaro or Corvette I always think of bright red. I plan on getting one that looks exactly like this:

I have a vic red 00 S10 blazer and I love it. Paint is good still. Get comments from folks about the paint. Another great thing about Vic red is the underhood and doorjamb look great. Vic Red hides little scratches well.

Vic Red is GM's darker red with some orange added to the tint. It can change colors in lighting from a dark red to a bright almost orange look.

Vic Red was also just pulled from 2010 Corvette. So it's gonna be more unique on Camaro.

Go to autotrader and do a search on chevy with adv filter "red" then you'll see tons of cars and trucks with Vic Red.
