The sales guy I had was decent, but then while he was showing me the different features inside the car, it was warm today and I had the air on. Twice he turned the air off and then he started playing with the visor, sliding the mirror cover back and forth. I finally couldn't take it and told him I wouldn't let my wife do that so where does that leave him, I told him thanks but it was time to drive. The last bit of wisdom he left me with was to never turn traction control off or the car would be dangerous to drive.
Overall I had a good experience but it was obvious the guy didn't know much about camaros let alone the ZL1. I found out more about the car on this site then he learned trying to sell the cars, it would be nice if they would actually have training for the different cars that they sold. If not for the fact that I knew exactly what I wanted and they had it he would not of been much help. But once I got behind the wheel none of that mattered anymore. |

Congrats! I'll echo your sentiment - once behind the wheel, you sort of forget all the problems you may have encountered leading up to the arrival of the car! In all my nearly 40 years of driving, I've never had a car that comes anywhere close to the ZL1.

Yes, I love my car and wish we had some nicer weather to run around with the top down. I may have to wear a winter coat and just drive. Hope you enjoy your CRT just like I do, I can't tell you how much I love the car!! I will keep the mods coming with pics berfore and after, just waiting for my next delivery!

I just got my car back from the XPEL installer today, I also had the windows tinted, they did an excellent job. I did the whole front end along with the quarter panel just behind the door and on the floor right under the doors just before the carpet.
The guy showed me a carbon fiber stripe that matches the insert perfectly, i'm thinking about adding a stripe to the top and trunk lid, but not sure if the stripe should contrast the carbon fiber insert, it might make the insert look fake, it is that good of a match. |

I never get tired of looking at these cars. And that color is pretty awesome. As far as stripes goes, I've never been a fan of them so I don't think I would offer good advice in that area

When I thought I had an allocation I was going to order them, this car had everything I wanted except for the stripes. I been having second thoughts, it looks sharp the way it is.

Speaking about dealers... Ya GM has to do something about this! Horrible dealers we got so disappointing... but as we all know, we know exactly what we r buying anyway.. who needs them :-)
