You posted you were leaving almost from idle. You can launch ok with the stock stall. From a roll in in tough.Better yet start from a dig ....

This is not a good race for you from a roll. Definitely do a dig run. Turbo m3 lighter, similar power, and im sure more aerodynamic is going to be a tough run if you're a casual cam build. If you were a high stall 3.91 gear aggressive cam much better odds

Check my Instagram in my sig. I ran an M4 with intake (auto) from a 50 roll. I was cammed (ls3) FBO. If i didnt get the jump he edged me out ever so slightly. I also ran an M4 with a tune and manual transmission. He got me by a car. Those things are pretty fast.

I'd have to say from a dig is your only option. Has this happened yet?

I concur with the above statement.

FBO, no cam, 1LE dudes are trapping 120+.

Sledge has been up against one. Sledge is still a young pup, he has a teeny tiny cam, FBO(well almost, my definition of FBO differs ), and we took him @ a jogging pace, decisive win, 2nd, 3rd, stopped right at 3rd 6500rpm.

All things being fair, he did have his wife/gf/sister or whatevever in his passenger seat. Sledge had just me inside : )

Looks like this will be a divers race for the OP. IMHO, your trap speed is too low, so it's definitely going to have to be a standing start, make full potential of the L99's auto attributes ; ).

I don't know who tuned your car, and therefore I don't know if you have two tables or just one for octane....If you don't know, i would do the fuse or battery pull after filling up with some fresh good fuel, just for good measure.

Any m car I've driven has been very difficult to launch. The m6's I've driven have launch control that's actually more of a burnout, the m5's are good but it only works maybe once out of every ten times you try. Plus it takes forever to set it up
