Well I bit the bullet and deleted the rear mufflers today. The car is pretty loud more than I wanted maybe but it does sound pretty good. It is a little noisy inside the car. I suspect I need to get used to it some. At first I felt a bit overwhelmed by the noise compared to stock but I drove around some and my feelings about it improved for sure. The young guys who did the work were drooling over the sound afterwards though LOL. One of them had a 1980 Z28 with no cats or anything on his car and that thing was crazy loud! He loved the decel pops when I told him to give my car a decent rev......
Its funny to hear that some people don't think a muffler delete makes much difference but I find it quite a bit louder. I wouldn't want it any louder than it is right now that's for sure. But I'm an older guy pushing 55 too. Startup vid...... Last edited by qcman; 01-19-2018 at 12:07 PM. |

Cam up your car. You would be surprised at how much louder it gets with a big cam.
Corsa = no drone, ditch the cats and it's about as loud as you can get. |
