AWESOME RUN! Thats what I'm talking about, I' really like the 1 mile run, its more realistic to me in a street showdown.
Eric@Torq if the speed governer is removed will it void the warranty? If it does I'll just wait til I fully exhausted the 100k miles or 5 yr warranty. To do any mods becuse I got to watch & balance the budget for bills lol. However I'm looking forward in you to hit that 200mph run & when you get that Twin Turbo mod thats is going to be the Fastest Camaro Period... |

Congrats, that is moving along. You just may be the fastest all motor 5th Gen, as far as Camaros in general I am not sure what the fastest is in the mile. I know Big Red went 200+ at the Mojave Mile recently

Even for a short throw shifter. Looks like he was taking alittle to long to shift. You could probably reach alittle bit higher then that. No offence.

It has our Ported Head and Cam Package, Kooks LT's, MBRP Cat-back and an aFe CAI (soon to be changed to an LSR unit). Makes 497rwhp/435rwtq
Quote:
To remove the governor you essentially have to tune the car, and according to GM that will void your warranty. Although with an SCT handhelt programmer you can return the car to stock before going to the dealer for any service. I will do my best, thanks! Quote:
That car is BAD. I have been following that car for years! But I still hope to beat it and all other Camaros out there Quote:
Next time i go back (before the TT mod) I will have a new clutch, new shifter and a little bit more power with the LSR intake so another 2-mph is possible. |

Not anymore, they are pretty much dead. I ran them the first few events and on the road course though. But I am running regular street tires still, Nitto Invo's to be exact.

Thanks for the vid ... GREAT
The folks asking about 6th for my 02 it would slow down @ warp drive if I put it in 6 just not the right gear/rpm/torque to push that much air ... I am sure the same might be true on all motor 2010's

my grandmother can shift faster than that.

As posted earlier in this thread I am well aware that the shifts where slower then a prius, but as I also wrote I had a faulty clutch assembly which was hurting my shifting big time. I blew the slave up the day after on I95! But I am also a road racer and have little experience drag racing so I know I can improve on my shifting.
