I work with people in Fritz Henderson's position. Believe me, it's all relevant marketing BS and a metric he assigns. Finance guys are not people focused. He cares about one thing...bottom line. If he wanted to know what was going on, he should have done a blind order at a dealer and lived the process.

Its great that this thread is coming together because the treatment of the R6P orders has been a total embarrassment and completely rediculous. I ordered in February, and was told that the dealer had 3 allocations, and that I was #2. I even sat there as the saleman entered my order. He figured that I should have the car by May at the latest. May turned to June, June turned to July, and now I have been told maybe not until September!!! This is insane! My order has not even moved past 1100 yet after 5 months! I understand the allocation deal, but with car dealerships struggling, nobody is going to turn a sale away and tell the customer the truth if it will cause them to lose the sale. Rewarding dealerships is all fine and good, but dont punish the unknowing customer. This has been an awful experience and there is not even a light at the end of the tunnel. The worst part for GM is that I am 25 years old, and this is my first ever new car purchase. I was born and raised on GM. I am part of their future, and this has left a tremendously sour taste in my mouth. I could not be more angry and the frustration is turning me against them! You cant even call anybody to voice how angry you are because customer service is a waste of time! GM slapped everyone of us in the face, and they couldn't care less!!! They are just lucky that I want this car soo badly, otherwise there would be a Challenger sitting in my driveway. Thanks for the great treatment GM, THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!

There may be a silver lining here though...like Chrysler did in the 60's and 70's, GM could rename the color offerings for the Camaro in '11 to reflect how successful the R6P program was....I offer these suggestions....
Black Hole Orange U Sorry Statutory Grape Silver Lining Not Price Increase Persimmon Too Much Green White Knuckles Broken Shaft Blue Tint Coat (Extra Cost of course) Non Indexing Indigo
