Your statement is true but it won't stop me from always having a V 8... I don't mind buying used cars, they don't have to be new...
And if ya look at my previous quote you'll see that I put there ugly can care less How fast they are.... so no arguing here about there performance..
That means shit anyways,, remember fast and furious junk.. you can make civics into 9 second cars, and I'm surely still going to when I see one!!!

This is exactly how I feel. Have all the twin turbo whatever you like, but as long as there's a V8 option, I'm good with it.

Only 2 things will kill the V8. Government or really high gas prices. If we have demand for them they will sell them.

And you don't think either of those are likely to happen in the next couple decades?

Regardless of How fast they are!!!

For me it's V 8 or nothing in my fun cars... forever!!
I've ridden in one that was only mildly modded and tuned and it was like nothing I'd been in before and rivaled the mag-lev coaster acceleration feeling..

It was just stupid fast. I would have traded my Camaro in for it and I'd still trade in my Grand Sport if I could manage the upkeep cost of it.

I was also taken for some very aggressive laps around Road America in the same car by a highly skilled precision driver. It ate cars like they were standing still waiting to be consumed.

Your grand sport would do that. It's a lot more scary when someone else is driving.

I was hoping we would see the LT1 engine move to the Camaro in 2014 since I'm going to order an auto anyway. I'm sure it will happen if they're going to put it in the the trucks and SUVs after the Corvette.

Gas prices will stay the same with some bumps here and there. The gov is what I am worried about. Most people in this country have become so soft they let the gov run right over them. Sorry but a V6 will never be as bad ass as a V8.

I've been lurking on here from LS1tech, thought you'd interested in this quote from a GM rep yesterday...

I believe a TT V6 is about to go into a couple of Cadillacs. I like the reference to a high output LS7. The LS7 Camaro Concept had 550hp.
