Exclamation Need help, just changed wheels

Just got a new set of wheels, went to dealership, they took the tpms from my old rims and put on my new ones. All the tpms were working fine on old wheels, but they told me one of the tpms can't read on the new wheels. Do u think they damaged it? And after the work, I can feel vibration from my steering wheel, as the dealership told me, they should have done the balancing for my car. What's ur advice? Thanks guys, need some suggestion, will go back to dealership tomorrow.

As I understand it, TPMS aren't wheel specific. They are vehicle specific. Especially if 3 of them still work. They most likely damaged one. Proving it at this point may be difficult.
The vibration is definitely a wheel balance issue.

Not sure about road force balancing. If it's one of the front sensors not working it could have broke inside the wheel.

They damaged it.
Won't read on the new wheels? Geez this chaffs me. They'll say anything to get out of fixing their shoddy work.

Simple , when you took the car in , all the systems were in good working order , they did the work that you requested and paid for
In the processe of doing the job they damage something , so there is only one way to make it good again , fix it at no cost to you ( the customer ) .
Ask them if the money you paid to do the work was in good ( working condition ) before and after they put their hands on it .

See how simple it is ?

You won't get any money from them. Just take it back and tell them to replace the tpms and balance them properly.
If they even start to give you the runaround, choke a few of them.

anytime tpms sensor is rotated or moved wheel to wheel just have the system relearned, takes like 3 minutes with proper tools and you will know if one was damaged during mounting. We relearn after every rotation and tire mount.

How much was it to get the new wheels mounted and balanced all together anyway?
