Where is it said 21's... the largest they have officially announced is 20's...

Besides 21's are horrible for tire options/pricing.. even 22" tires are cheaper than 21" tires

do you really need 21's ? My current car has 17's and I think they look good. 21's are going to be so freakin heavy you can forget the 0-60 in sub 5 seconds lol.

there not steel. the 20's are not that heavy and 21's arent much different.

im not too concerned about the price of the tire. im buying a damn muscle car, their ment to go through some rubber. im not buying a honda. i know what to expect with a rwd v8 car with alot of hp. when you buy a car like this you have to prepare for the repair cost and replacement cost even after the arranty expires.

Uhh have an official link because I can't find one.... Also who at KBB is in charge at GM? Until its from GM its just rumor...

The official PDF's have just 3 wheels

18 X 7.5 (LS base)
19 X 8 (LT optional)
20 X 8 (X9 in rear, for the SS)

AFTERMARKET wheels from GMPP sure they probably will have 21's .. but they wont be "stock"

I'd rather have the 'Vert wheels than any of the abominations on that red car. They look like bling-bling gone flat. I was hoping they'd make the 'Vert wheels in the first place, but I guess not - unless that's what these mysterious 21" rims are.

The 21" wheels were not going to be stock. They were to be dealer installed GM accessories. They also included a different spoiler and a body kit. It is somewhere on this site. I am curious to see them also.

here is the link to a GM site that list these available accessories

http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro/insi...y/?id=cid00018

Accessories
The new Camaro is complemented by a wide range of available dealer-installed accessories that allows customers to create a more personal car. From convenience features to appearance and performance upgrades - including 21-inch wheels4 - the accessories include the following:

Interior trim kit - a four-piece kit offered in different colors
Interior accessories - items include premium, "Camaro"-embroidered floor mats, sill plates and more
Exterior detailing accessories - a variety of components are offered, from grille inserts and fuel doors to a High Rear Wing and Lower Ground Effects Package
Stripes - heritage-inspired stripes are offered in RS style for the hood or "hockey stick" style side design
Engine covers - available in five colors for the V6 and V8 engines
Wheels - split-five-spoke 21-inch wheels are offered in black metallic and polished finishes
Performance parts - numerous performance-enhancing components, including a tuned air intake, cat-back exhaust system, a Hurst short-throw shifter as well as more traditional GM Performance Parts.

Hey Guys. I don’t think you will get the chance to see any of the official aftermarket parts from GM until SEMA in September. I will say that I have been talking with some one that is very reliable from GM in reference to the aftermarket parts and accessories. I have thrown idea at this person that I will not name. Things about what if I decide to get an Eaton TVS R2300 supercharger that is used on the ZR1 sense the two cars share the same LS3 6.2 V8. All I can say from his response is this, “just weight till after Sema and the car hits the show room". But on rims. I have herd people talk about how they like the ones on the Convertible Concept. Well take a look at the "Konig Beyond" rims. They are mostly used by the pony car group, but just check out the similarity before you beat me to death and shoot me. Ow and dear god I hope the 21’s don’t look like the ones in that pic.

Here are the wheels in question:

If you google them, you'll see them mostly on Mustangs... which at the moment... kind of take up the pony car segment since the Challenger is too new for us to start seeing mods right away. So 13F20 is right.

These Konig's actually look pretty damn sweet if you ask me. I might just get them for my Camaro! They're like a more down to earth, deep-dished version of the 'Vert wheels.
