get rid of the 1208x springs. that might have been the problem.

Ya, the springs looked OK, but I bought BTR .660 titanium polished springs.

with all the talk about the 1208x being to much pressure. For my car everyone has to agree they are good or its not going on. Everyone agrees the 660 are good.

I agree with you. I only want the best, reguardless of cost. Unfortunately I did my cam swap almost 2 1/2 years ago, so knowledge of the 1208s wasnt readily available.

I have btr .660s right now. My tuner uses nothing but btr valvetrain components for cam swaps. Hope my cam last every time I drive it im paranoid for noises or rattles etc.

For that price you can get a cam thats larger and gonna get you more power without the heads. Thats pretty much what I paid for my cam to be installed and tuned.

"They" being lethal racing? Why would they do that when they could just get them from Comp?

And if that's so 376LS3's cam is a totally different cam.

Anyone know what lobes the Night Fury cam is ground on? Might be some useful information for anyone thinking about getting that cam.

If you go on Comp Cams website, use the top numbers on the pic of my cam and it will tell you every detail. The first number is the intake lobe, second number is the exhaust lobe.
