My camaro freaks out when I plug my iPhone in at least once a day, it's starting to get pretty annoying, and the shuffle play SUCKS!

everytime i try shuffle, it always plays a Korn song first. Not that thats a problem, just a little bit more shufflely would be nice.

Actually, it would be nice if the car used the iPhone or iPod's internal shuffle and skip functions. It obviously doesn't right now.

Shuffle: The Camaro essentially picks a random song from the current playlist (not really, but close enough). The iPhone/iPod randomly reorders the playlist and then plays the songs in that random order, ensuring no repeats until the whole playlist is done.

Skip: The Camaro's skip backward always goes to the previous song. The iPhone/iPod's skip backward goes to the previous song only if the button was pressed within the first five seconds of the current song. If it's after five seconds, the current song starts over.

I had installed an Alpine head into my Integra specifically for iPod support. That Alpine supported those two iPod features, so I know it can be done.

(Hoping someone from GM is reading this!)
