The rims are only "expensive" if you can't afford them. LOL
If anyone is interested, when you take delivery of your new RS/SS, it should have the dark chrome 20" with Perelli's. If you take delivery, and park it, I will give 1600 credit toward the new 21's...

I agree that there are probably some better looking 21s out there but I haven't seen any that are less expensive AND better looking esp after adding the cost of tires this size. I lucked out as I just won an ebay auction for the black painted 21s WITH the Pirellis for $4k + ~$150 shipping from Ohio. Even GM parts direct has a decent price for these rims but their shipping charges are a deal breaker @ $130 or so PER rim. WTH??

I'm still wondering what to do with the 20' MS wheels and tires I have in my garage. Just don't get enough on E-bay.

^^Take off the tires and sell them here. ADM just got rid of 8 tires...FAST (then again, they priced them at $100 each and they were all fronts).

I have to work on getting rims first, but at $100 a piece, that's a GREAT investment....(when they run $500 new a piece per front). You should put some slicks on the rear stockers...keep'em for the track. Sell the rear tires and front tires/rims together or separate. People will buy them as they jack them up on curbs, pot holes, wrecks, etc and priced right, those tires will go quickly too.

I plan on buying the new rims and changing over all the rubber. I'll have 4 MS wheels to sell. I'll sell them one at a time if they want. After all, it'll offset the cost of the new rims, so I'm cool.

Got my car June 1st. For every 100 people who came up to me freakin out about the car, about half immediately commented on the wheels.

And no BS, I had many come up to me and mention the wheels BEFORE the car.

These are awesome. Tag, yes they're pricey, but to me WELL worth it.
I have to second this. I have the black 21" rims and probably half the people who approach me about the car comment on the wheels. They really make the car stand out.

I wound up selling mine for $1500 through a local craigslist site. Had to fend off several scammers who offered "to have their secretary cut a cashier's check right away." Sheesh.

I hear what your saying but, I kind of disagree, I think the OEM 21s are rare enough (of course we all see them plenty around this Camaro forum) and in your example, after dropping 5k on one-offs you still gotta get tires. On the other hand I think the factory 21s should be less money when ordered with the car, I think they should be at the 2-2.5k price point and GM just keep their 20s...After the 4k I just dropped on the 21s I hope to get back some of that back by reselling the 20s with tires.
