I can't believe all the hoopla over unplugging the center channel. Of course it will make the BA sound better because the center is really a POS. Well, the so is the the entire BA system but the center is worse...

So I checked out the amp in back of the drivers tail light. I don't have a yellow wire?? It is the BA system, so which one leads to the center speaker?

No idea. Best way to disconnect is to unplug the speaker itself.

Remove the speaker grill.
Unscrew the 2 hex screws in place. Pull the speaker up and unplug. You also might want to tape the cable to the speaker before replacing the grill so it doesn't fall down into the dash.

Ok... actually i bet you could get 3 gauges... Boost, A/F and Fuel (for the SS guys). With our DI i don't think we'll see fuel gauge... so not sure what I would do in the 3rd... hmmmm remote radar detector! LOL

Looks like someone has done it.

It would be a perfect spot for a Popup portable GPS holder. I'm going to be looking into this, if anyone makes one I'll buy it. If anyone finds links to the gauge pod post them, maybe it could be modified to hold a gps.

would anyone be willing to make another video showing how to do this? I want to try it but am really nervous about messing it up.... Also need to look into one of those tool kits, where do you get them? Any auto parts store?

I can't make the video, sorry I just put my Camaro away for the winter.
It is not difficult. But I can understand being nervous. As for the tool kit, I bought mine at Harbour Freight.
