ford chevy dodge they all have the same issues because they dont want us to speed shift at high rpm. their computers in the drive train are preventing us from doing so donkeys! you are living in the past if you think on board computers are not controlling these cars as designed!

1 more week can't wait for pickup of my new 2012 SS LS3. Hurry week will ya. With all these clutch issues I will just have to accept the fact that I would have to change gears slowly and effectively not to damage anything I guess.

Okay I broke down and installed the Trans. Car is at dealership. We shall see what happens from here.

So remember the "clutch" thats not under warrenty? Well the car was picked up today. They replaced the flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and actuator. The 2nd gear grind isnt gonna be fixed but all this was replaced for free. The execs are calling back thursday and I informed them I paid for a rental while these issues were being fixed, I put in 4 hours of labor identifying an issue Ive been trying to get them to see, and i am making a 3rd car payment since I have started this issue. Offers will be made and talked over thurs. Keep hammering these people, it will pay off guys! Feel free to PM me if assistance is needed.

Good luck with that Squirrel! Let us know how it works out. Mine is at the dealer and they are having the GM Tech rep come in to look at it to see if there is any further course of action on the grind. If not, I will be looking for a buyback...which pains me to even think about.

Well I picked up the car today and after the last weeks in the 10 ss, its deffinatly a tighter clutch in the 11. My 11 thats been in feels alot better but only 5 miles on the new parts so far. Havnt had time to play yet. All parts in the bell housing are new and we shall see what the execs have tomorrow!
