Question does the 2012 2ls have a posi track rear end?

I can't seem to find anything online. Does the 2012 2ls have posi track? If not do I have to swap out the whole rear end or can I do a conversion inside the differential?

all automatic V6 camaros, including the 2LS, do not have a limited slip differential or posi trac; they are "open" diffs. Your 2LS in specific has a different gear ratio in the back to help with fuel economy (2:92? 2:93?). If you want positrac, you would need to change out the "pumpkin", the whole differential with one from a manual v6 (3:23 ratio with limited slip). You could swap for a pumpkin from an SS (3:45 ratio with limited slip), but I think it is slightly different. I think you would need a custom driveshaft, could be wrong.

If you want to play around with different gear ratios, the diff from the manual V6 also accepts gears made for the SS diff, so you can swap to 3:73, 4:11, etc. etc.

This is great news. I was hoping this was the reason for my difficulty of getting out of oversteer.
