Hello All, here is a Car show this weekend being put on by the local Auto Zone in Tallahassee. I have entered already and was just wondering if anyone else planned to go. Seems like it will be pretty fun.

Wow just realized my typo by saying "auto zone" when it's really their rival "advance auto parts" lol. Nonetheless, the contact listed on the flyer is the manager at Advance Auto parts, when you all contact him, maybe arrange for us to be placed next to each other. Or we can simply meet ahead of time and arrive together.

I am now registered and up on the ECC forum. I want to say I had a really good time at the Tally meet, greet, and cruise. It was nice meeting up with the ECC group and look forward to meeting again. Thanks again Willard for taking lead on a nice ride to Lake Talquin and Angels Seafood for lunch.

I'm glad everyone was able to carry the torch without me. Nice pictures!

I got the car back Tuesday afternoon. The main problem was the fuel injection pump. They replaced it along with the sensor, two pipes, and a gasket (package deal, naturally). Then all was well except for a little problem of cylinder #6 misfiring. They actually asked me if I had tuned it (I have not). After much head scratching, they finally arrived at the problem being that the rocker arms controlling the valves had reversed, meaning intake opened the exhaust valves and vice versa. Turns out cylinders don't work well that way. After they figured that out (at no extra charge, how nice) I gave them $1286 and I was on my way.

Might be another month or so before I drop that order for a 2017. But hey, good news is now I'm not stuck at home and get to go back to work.

That was alot of money but at least it's fixed and it has a repair warranty on it for a time. Just look at it as slight setback in life.
