Are those bolts a one off bolt. Should I go get me some bolts?

You know that is not even funny and will be really sad if true that the wheels are actually harming other parts on the car but it does make a little sense.

How do you tell if the bearing is going bad?
Do you think the lowering springs or coilovers had any affect on this?

You'll get some play in the rear end of the drive shaft toward the U Joint in the middle. I heard mine first though.

According to all the suspension guys the lowering will have nothing to do with it.

I don't believe the extra power does either becasue it's just a part that holds the shaft while it spins. Like a cradle. Only extra stress I can see it having is if it were binding. But then there would be more problems.

As far as vibration causing it, I don't know.

I do know that I've blown up two LCAs, two strut tubes, an end link and now this driveshaft bearing.

The reason I ask is my shifter vibrates and some seem to think it is just from the cam and I was wondering if this may be the cause to it. Kinda like transferring the vibration.....But I have no clue.

Randy, maybe it's that you've just got OMGWTFROFLBBQ power that's actually twisting your frame & causing it to bind. too bad your square donk wheels are slowing you down so much you can't even realize what's going on :(

and Jekl, is your shifter aftermarket? some of those don't do such a great job dampening the engine/trans vibrations - at least not as much as factory ones do

Ya, agree with Zebra. Hard to say about that. I am not getting much vibration in the shifter (lever, whatever it's called, lmao) but mine is actually running just fine. As far as normal operation it's perfect. Heck, I can't even hear the noise anymore. If I didn't already know there was a problem, there would be no other way to know.

That's actually perfectly fair. It's possible. I wish I could get the wheels I want quicker. I don't have a lot of time to mess with it. And money of course lmao. But some day I'll get it done. Just need the right wheels.

Heck, even 18s are pretty tight in the rear. (not too tight to beat a blown LS3 manual though)
