TR6060 problems

I have had the big runaround from dealer all the way up to the executive office on my clutch pedal sticking, 2nd gear grind issue. After a big failure on their part to say anything after I took it in 3 times. I decided that the trans needed pulled to look at and ill see whats up. Here is what I have found.

I was told they couldnt duplicate the problem and the final time I brought it in they said the clutch was gone and needs replaced before they would look into any other issue. They wouldnt take in account that I had been bringing it in for issues and then when it does go out they blame a cold air intake for it! WTH! Ive been round and round with this and it will be my final experience dealing with GM. I will not own another product nor will I go to any dealer for a GM part. If you cant back up your parts or even try to look at any issue without trying to charge the customer a few thousand dollars then no wonder you went bankrupt. Just my opinion.

Yup, sorry dude, no clue what I'm supposed to see wrong.

Nothing jumps out at me.

Maybe next time you bash someone and show pics, an explanation for us laymen would be nice.

Look at the first pic, the dust cover is peeled off, the socond pic you can see how the bearing and race are separated, in the third pic you can see how it just fell apart when I grabbed it and missing ball bearings. In the final pic look towards the top and you can see a long peice of metal from the bearing stuck in the pressure plate.

Are you guys blind?????....are you serious that you don't see anything wrong in the last two pics????....do you see bearings all the way around in the second to last pic or are all the bearings there all the way around, and you think that pressure plate looks normal......WOW

Ok I see all that.

Thanks for the explanation. That sucks! CAI are powerful things I guess.

BTW, your dealer is beyond an idiot. Good luck!

Take it easy buddy. Yes, I see the missing ball bearings, I just figured they fell out when he removed the bearing and it fell apart.

Sorry to hear about your experience OP, it's too bad that we seem to continue to see these type of experiences with dealers. I wish I knew what the answer was, what I do know is that this type of thing is totally unacceptable. Guess it's just business as usual.

GM sucks just saying bro. I also have an issue and am on the verge of bringing a halt to all modding and trade this car. GM you guys are shisters. You get us to buy your products and then void warranty not because it is our fault but because you know your products are not sound and when they go bad you protect your wallets by denying the fault and blame it on us making us pay you even more than we should. I have never see a company void warranties for so little as sneezing too hard like you GM.

They aren't blind they work for GM dealerships also. They are all trained to deny any issues. These cars are perfect remember. My body panels aren't really out of alignment, the stock tune doesn't really suck, the peeling paint on the trunk is just an illusion, the radius rod bushing isn't really tooooo mushi we just think it is. Pedders and Pfadt aren't really required to make this car handle better they just want our money the car handles great off the showroom floor .
