Well it is almost time. If you are going on the run and want to go to the BBQ please bring chairs and a possible side dish. If you just want to go on the run, that is great as well. Hope to see you all, until then, have a great night.

If you wait an hour, YouTube will have processed the video and you can view in 4k resolution.

Cool video. Love the stabilized shots in the high winds up there.

The cruise was mostly fun. This is the first time that my exhaust has really screamed so loud. Very nice and it justified the high-flow cats that I installed a few weeks ago. The only annoying part was the hopped-up HP monsters who wanted to race down the canyon way too fast. I'm sorry, but my V6 doesn't have Brembo brakes and that descent was pretty hairy at 45. I think there were 3 V6s out of 60 cars there.

The BBQ was fantastic. Tons of good food. We just had to leave a little early for that 3 hour drive home. Thanks to John and Ginger!

We went into the restaurant to grab a bite, and when we came out, everyone was gone. We got left behind. Nobody said anything, and we were surprised we didn't hear or see anyone leaving.

We drove for about an hour or so, before agreeing to turn around, since we weren't even sure if we were on the right road, and there was no guarantee of a gas station at the end.

Got a nasty rock chip on my windshield and nothing to show for it. Oh well. It was nice to see you guys.

Sorry to hear that. Rock chips suck, too...got one on my Corvette that turned into a foot long crack driving it to Seattle from North Carolina when I moved back.

Were you outside for the drivers meeting? The meet up time was 10, and I believe the drivers meeting was around 10:15 when he said we were leaving at 10:30. With a large group like that, it's hard to keep an eye on everyone. I saw the car as we left, and wondered where you guys went. Wanted to stick with the group so I would be on the same route...and that's probably what most people thought as we left.

A tip for future cruises is to fill up before meeting with the group, that way everyone's tank is full and you can all fill up again if necessary at the same place (or same town).

It' was a nice day for a drive...hopefully you enjoyed the sun, since we're starting to get into Winter grey days.
