Black Camaro owners, any regrets?

I keep changing my mind on color back and forth between Black and SIM. I ordered at one dealer in Black, kept thinking about SIM. I ended up cancelling my order there though due to never giving me an order number for 2 weeks.

I ordered SIM at my current dealer but I keep thinking about black!

Do any of you black camaro owners have regrets due to scratches / keeping it clean?

Want to make the right decision because this is my first new car lol

I like my black car but its not easy to keep clean. You always see stuff on it. But not matter what color I would have picked, it would try to clean it all the time anyways.

I went with Black, IOM Interior and IOM Srally Stripes. No regrets as I do not use the car as a daily driver. So cleaning is not an issue for me.

If you have concerns about keeping the car clean, then SIM, if not Black looks so awesome . This car has a presence regardless of color.

My 1998 z-28 was black and I lived to regret it. after one winter it looked like crap. My next two were silver. silver does not show the dirt so I am happy with it.

Mine keeps pretty well, needing washing about once every 2 weeks.

Just get some Zaino up on it, you'll be fine.

How so? lol

I've been noticing when I see an Infiniti g35 or nissan 350z in black or silver, i like the black way more. (Those are my other 2 favorite cars besides the camaro!)

I'm just afraid ill punch a kitten as soon as I see one scratch on the black.

Cool The key to black is light wash and blow dry

One or twice a year do or have done a solar glaze and wax 2.5 hrs. to eliminate wash swirls and scratches .
Had to do mine at another dealer cause my dealer's car washer waxer has no idea about washing/waxing cars.... messed it up royally!
Avoid washing the car as much as possible for light dust or road film.
Do not hand dry any car especially black...use leaf blower.

Wash your car like its an egg, rinse wash mit every 5 seconds

You're right you... will enjoy black and the proof is that it is so far 25% of sales once u know how to keep it clean.

Go black baby!!

I would never buy a black car if it was kept outside, my daily driver, and I hated to detail.
