here's some more pics, and a thread bump. its been a while, both cars have been through some changes.. also, the wheels on the 2010 have been re-painted. the way they were they looked great indoors, but outside sunlight made them have a green tint, ESPECIALLY near grass..

The black chrome and the stripes look awesome. I put black chrome wheels on my Rally Yellow 2SS/RS. I got them from US Wheel Exchange. I love the black chrome.

Looks great! Quick question, those are flat black stripes without any clear coat?

That is sharp! I like how you stayed with the silver/chrome lugnuts. Very nice.

Thanks, I'm looking into getting paint work done and am trying to decide which black (flat or satin) to go with. The lack of a clear coat on the flat is making it tough to decide. With your reply now I have an idea of how flat black with a flat clear will look.
Thanks again

the 2010 isnt my car, its a buddys...so im not exactly sure. he explained it to me as basically just being a flat cleat coat, i guess over factory paint? flat looks good, satin would also look really good too. his wheels look pretty satin-ish, and the stripes do when theyre wet..
