Some Bolt-On Installations!!

So I’m currently working with a company out here in VA to do some Bolt-On add-one for my 2018 Camaro 1LE. Currently all I have are Kooks Long-Tube Headsds. My mod list is listed below. Just wanting some advice on the best brands to go with.

Cold Air Intake
E85/Premium Flex Fuel Pump w Sensor
Intake Manifold
Tune

I was quoted before finalization of the parts at over $3,000 ... does this sound right??

Cold Air Intakethe one that's on sale, but the popular one is the rotofab dry filter
E85/Premium Flex Fuel Pump w Sensor either skid mark garage, pray performance, or dsx
Intake Manifold ported stock one from pray performance... might as well get the matching throttle body too
Tune

honestly alot of these you can do it yourself. i kinda have the same set up.
i installed the 1 7/8 Kooks heads with cats, went with RotoFab Dry filter, DMS e85 Flex Fuel Sensor, PRAY ported TB (still missing the Intake Manifold) then got the car tune.. beside for parts.. i only paid like 600 for tune. no dyno tho. it was a street tune.
total: $2170 with parts and tune. but i didnt most of the install myself.

I would also advise that you do some of the modifications yourself. I didn’t have access to a lift or any means to properly get my car in the air so, installing long tubes was not in the cards for me. I’m also didn’t have the tools to install the under drive pulley. Either way, they’re right. No matter how this plays out, get an itemized list of things they’re charging you for—because that sounds expensive.

Cold Air Intake ---Rotofab about $450 shipped or find a used one for less
E85/Premium Flex Fuel Pump w Sensor ----- Skidmark sensor is about $170
Intake Manifold ----- pray ported of your stock manifold about $350
Tune ----- $600

I was quoted before finalization of the parts at over $3,000 ... does this sound right??
So about $970 in parts plus tune is $1570. Lets say you get flex sensor installed that's about $150. So $1750 total (you definitely can install intake and intake manifold on your own).

Side note if you have $3k-4k to spend I would be looking at LT4 supercharger kit and call it a day.

Not sure why they are saying you need an aux fuel pump if you're just going E85.

It’s a dual map fuel system so I can run 93 or E85

For such kind of money spent and knowing you are voiding warranty anyway, why not add ~ 3K more and get yourself SCed (I.E. LT4 blower, related coolers, adapter plate, fueling, the other parts + tune).
Expected power gains are considerable.

contact HorsepowerAddicts in DE for pricing also. I know their stage 2 bolton package
comes below that. Consists of LT headers, CAI, Flex Fuel, installations/dyno tuning. Also a cam package with Flex Fuel installations/dyno tuning comes below that also.
If you're ever find yourself up a little north toward Springfield Va, let me know.

Air Rad Intake - $350 (Junk, get the roto-fab dry CAI)
MSD Airforce LT1 Intake Manifold - $1,175.00 (Pray ported IM/TB will perform better on your car than the MSD)
DSX Flex Fuel Kit Camaro 1LE - $250 (Skidmark garage kit is just as nice and a little cheaper)
DSX Auxillary Fuel Pump Kit - $900 (Not needed at all on the 6th gen or even the 1LE since the 1LE has the ZL1's in-tank fuel pump already)

Intake and Manifold Install - $220
Flex Fuel Sensor Kit Install - $55
DSX Fuel Pump Kit Install - $330
Dyno Tune E85 - $880
HP Tuners Credit X4 - $250 (Shop is taking you for $50 bucks here, the HP Tuners credits are $50 per credit. Should only cost $200 for the tune credits)

Grand Total - $4,607.00

For $4600 and some change I'd be expecting at least a cam, maybe heads.

Pretty aggressive mod list. My mind jumped on the list for a fuel pump at $900. I can't see the need for it to begin with and surely a Chevy Hi Po pump would do it for cheaper. Good luck with your build.
