Installed AWE Touring Catback with secondary cat delete!
Hey all,
I wanted to go over the new exhaust i recently put on my 18 ZL1 from AWE Tuning touring catback with secondary cat delete! 1st things 1st, i absolutely love the quality of this exhaust, it comes with 3 pipes all the way to the cats, the mufflers are very nice quality with great welds. the sound is another story! absolutely blown away! i was searching for quite some time on the Fb forums and there is two different options you can go with. there is a track edition and touring. both are amazing and i made a video of the install and sounds with more sound clips with before and after. This kit is made ready to really wake up the Camaro. the link below will take you to the video with other videos to show you more video sounds. enjoy and the link to get yours will be in the video description. 🤙 https://youtu.be/_mqCy1hCp2A

It is the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard with the stock manifolds. When you install headers, it gets insanely loud.

Yep, in my signature below. System got really loud with headers and no cats, FYI.

This^^^. Dont get me wrong, it was awesome. But too much for street use in my area, so I added the Magnaflow x-pipe muffler to tame it down.

I would look into Flexfuel instead of the pulley. This video explains why: https://youtu.be/aMO1y-am_cY

I love the AWE exhaust, however some days I just wish you could bolt the tips to the stock NPP. Maybe I'm just getting old lol.

Hey, I'm in Gilbert, what part of phoenix are you at? I installed a touring/resonated AWE catback a few months ago, I do love it, but I'm thinking about swapping the mid-pipes out for the non-res versions to make it a little louder.

I wouldn't do that, the resonators don't control the volume at all, they just shape the sound. You'll likely end up with a little more resonance or raspiness. You may very well enjoy that, but I wouldn't make the switch thinking its going to be louder. The resonators are the best way to go in my opinion, really eliminates any harsh resonance or frequencies.
