No have never done that..my rear tires are at 6/32's and I am trying to delay buying expensive new ones. Just knowing I can do it is enough for me..and there are plenty of videos if I want to experience the look and sound of it.

Because the tires are expensive to replace ;p. This is my daily driver so I get enough tire wear as is.

Try 250 to 300 each. Thats 500-600 for tires on the SS. If you like spending money foolishly have at it.

If you need to look no higher than $125 all-season tires for a $30k+ car, you're already stretched out too far.

If you need to keep doing burnouts just to feel better about your car choice, you've got bigger issues.

Not since I sold my Chevette. That car was a turd, but it could haze the hides...well one hide, anyway.

When I first got the car, yep.

Those pirellis didn't last too long! LOL

After spending 1400 to replace all 4 tires with wider rubber (to accommodate my wider wheels) No, not too often, but when the mood strikes.... it happens

Surprised the anti road racing fools haven't chimed in about not talking about it on here.
Not that were talking about racing but there are some on here that are prudish as hell!

I boiled my first set of pirellis off before replacing them. Looked up and three of my neighbors where standing outside, got two sets of thumbs up and another dramtic shake of the head.
