Interesting. My brother had told me a while back when he was still working as a mechanic about newer Tundra that were having major engine problems. Where is the national media when you need them? You never hear any about problems with Toyota or Honda in the mainstream media. But I don't think its because their quality is actually higher.

What you may have heard was the hush hush recall on the Tacoma from last year. They were having the same problem.

Why buy a Tundra when you can have a Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado, or a Ford F-150 ...

Just leave the truck business to the Americans:flag2:

That's possible. It was around a year ago.

Been saying this forever, it is not Toyota is better they just get better treatement from the media. When GM has a problem it leads the evening news. When Toyota has a problem no one hears about it.

I wonder if the imports don't pay somebody to keep some things on the hush hush...

Isn't that the truth! Although the Silverado is your best bet.

Like my dad always says, "What the Hell do the Japaneese know about half tons? If I want something Japaneese, I'll buy a bottle of sake!"

I love my dad
