Do you remember when you were a kid?

My wife was school shopping with my boys and my one son picked out this note book. The book matched my car exactly down to the stripe on the roof and trunk. I remember being that age and having a note book of my dream car on it. It felt kind of neat to have my dream car on a note book.

That's cool! I took my son to toy store a while back and he came back with a hot wheels car that looked just like my car and he said he wanted it cuz he wanted to be like dad. That put a big smile on my face!

That's cool. It makes me happy to have both my sons wanting to be involved with the cars. Here are my two sons three years ago!

...wow do I ever remember, I used to write to many of the sponsers of the Sanctioned cars and ask for decals. They sent me big packages with ton's of them. Race cars were one of the big influences on me as a child throughout the 60's. We watched 'em race live, and watched some buy the farm in carnage. Daredevils. Hero's. I was all in when I became of age later on and wanted a piece of that. It was life changing for me.

I bought the notebook and folder last year, I keep my maintenance records in the folder.
