JBA short headers or Injen CAI?

Well basically I am going to be ordering one of thoose today. So what do you guys think, I am already waiting for my MRT ver 2.0 to get here. I am leaning far towards headers.

I would recommend you ask scrming though I have a feeling that it is more of a personal choice. BTW the MRT v2 exhaust is AWESOME!!! I heard if you cut the resonators off that it sounds even better!

I love the MRT / JBA combo!

I will say though that today for some reason I got the stupid trouble code... I'm not worried.. guess I just have to have Vince turn off the rear o2s...

Combine the shorties and the exhaust first. They are proven as a combo already. We have no idea what that intake is going to do yet. I would wait for scrming, mmray or a couple other guys who install the injen first.

I would love to hear it with the resonators cut off.

I would like to know if I should or not, before I get the installation.

I may be behind on my thread reading, but can we say that the shorties are "proven". I thought that the shorties don't result in gains even with a tune. Shorties would be just for sound, right?

Yep sound. I don't think of performance when it comes to those. Scrming has been rocking them for a while. He will have better info on them. All I know is that they sound mean.

mrray13 seen like 5 RWHP / 8 RWTQ IIRC... so he did see some gains... while I didn't see anything really noticeable on the dyno, i did see slight improvment in my 0-time... But... for me it was more about the sound... LOL

Well after a talk with a salesman at chevy dealership,(who owns an SS with a bunch of mods and has dyno'd at almost 500hp,and his actually on Camaro5 himself), he showed me a package that chevy has just released, states a 327hp v6 all that is added is a SLP exhaust, headers, and a Blackwing CAI, tuned, so I mean if the false advertising rule is held up here, that is pretty impressive to me, BUT it didn't say anything about RWHP. But hopefully once I have everything installed any dyno'd, I will be able to sum up all these questions. But what I would really like to know is WHAT DOES IS SOUND LIKE WHEN THE RESONATORS ARE CUT OFF? and is it worth it.

The performance upgrades for the SLP v6 ZL327 are the intake tube and filter, their axle back exhaust and a non adjustable tune.

Looking at the package, I don't see anything about headers. Based on what we have seen so far, I seriously doubt a high-flow filter/intake tube, an axle back, and a tune are going to get you 23 HP over stock. Even if it were true, $6K for maybe 15-20 rwhp is crazy! Looks like you would be mostly paying for stickers and floor mats. Doesn't look like they are selling the tune separate yet, so I am betting it is not available yet.
