From what I gathered from reading a few of the pages, the new master cylinder package (the one for $265) is what I need to fix this, along with some Royal Purple syncromax tran fluid?

Also, I would def not be comfortable with installing this myself so I would be taking it to my mechanic that I have known for years. What would a typical install of this cost (ballpark is fine)?

Thanks guys

Way better!

Just installed. A little bit of a pain but not all that bad. 4 hours including remote GTO res. I did a few thing different that may or may not help the DIYers. I left the hose attaches to the mater and just took it off at the brake res. It was was easier to take off once out of the car. In order to pull the master out with the hose attached you need to remove the return spring. It is very easy to remove and put back on if you do it with the peddle to the floor. Just be carefull as it is a stong spring.

As for the master it wonderful. The shifts are so much smoother. I really had the high RPM shit issue but way alawys very knotchy. The clutch only grabs marginly higher then stock. It is nice to have a smoth shifting trans

No,I haven't installed it yet....Going to wait untill I get the speed bleed kit, upgrade the TO bearing, clutch etc and do it all at once.

I don't really have a problem with my Trans or clutch at this time, so I'm just collecting all the parts for the go big swap out.

I just got a new home garage Car lift as well so it will make it really easy..

I will be ordering one real soon. Took my car to the track and now I have a clutch that sticks which is making my car shift from 2nd to 5th.when under load it won't go into 3rd. Sounds like this should remedy the problem. Under normal driving its fine.

It will help a lot, if you haven't separated your clutch fluid from your brake fluid you should do that as well.
