Anyone else have one of these and think its a pile of junk?

I've had mine over a year and I used it the first two weeks I had it. Been sitting in the glovebox as a reminder not to waste money on junk.

1: controls barely work, menu system is difficult to navigate and settings are hard to grok.

2: doesn't remember settings. EVER.

Maybe because I design manufacturing interfaces on a daily basis I am biased but damn I hate this thing.

What functions were you using? I am thinking about getting it to use as a boost gauge.

From your description it sounds like you are running version 1.0 of the Gauge Projector software. Version 1.0 does not remember its settings if you unplug it from the OBD port.

We have an updated version 2.0 software which adds a memory function so that the GP remembers its settings if you unplug it. It also has a improved programming interface.

Please contact us about getiting your unit updated to the latest version of software.

Well contacting you sounds great but if you didn't answer any of the six emails I sent about it when I bought the device...
