Great work. You built what YOU like and what YOU wanted. I personally think you did an awesome job and I wish I had your talent.

Congrats on making it to SEMA.

What happen to the original forgeline rims that you were going with? No pics of the car with those? To be the car would of looked better with it being black

Actually, the front end looks like a 1st Gen CAMARO. With the exception of the missing turn signals. Looks nothing like a VW.

WOW you can do some work! the car project is awesome, my only comment is the interesting choice of front body kit, was there a reason it had to be added or was it just another way to push the envelope (both make sense to me). That it the point of a sema car to go all out... there are a lot of cars at the show that aren't exactly appealing to the masses but they know that going in. Was it installed to hide the transfer case for the front dif?

either way i want to see some all wheel drive burnouts! awesome project and thank you for letting us watch the project come together!

This looks really cool. I can't wait to see pictures of it at SEMA.

Well... I am definitely not the only one thinking of a Golf, when looking at the front.

Don't get me wrong, I understand and appreciate the efforts that were put into the car making it look this way (certainly on what seems to be real short notice), but if you do look at a Golf, there are certain similarities (i know the picture I put up isn't the right perspective, but still...)

Anyway, don't see them around here too often, but if the first gen Camaro did have the dual headlights (as you indicate headlights and small turn signals).. then I guess it's clear where the Golf designers got their inspiration from

To the OP: all the best at SEMA, I'm sure you'll get a lot of reactions (good and bad...)

Seen a few first gen Camaros in collections, on meetings and car shows, but they are a pretty rare sight here...
