Angry Today Was A Sad Day

After only 2 years I was finally hit. I was sitting still at an intersection and a Kia came flying around and did the damage. The tire was slashed on impact so a tow was the only way to go.

Is it just me or did the wheel really get no damage on it?

The rim had no damage (not sure how). I really think the woman was texting because I guarantee you she never slowed down. Either that or she was stunned at how beautiful of a car it was.

Check to make sure the wheel was not pushed in causing damage to hub, brake line, caliper, steering, etc.

If the wheel is not damaged then you could take the insurance money and replace the parts yourself (if you are mechanically inclined) and end up with the ZL1 front end for the same money. If your car lives inside then you will not have to worry about blending the paint on the hood or door.

Good thing it wasn't your fault, KIA was probably totaled! Glad your ok. And as I always say every time I get in a wreck, "Could've been worse"

That sucks. I was hit by a Kia just over 2 weeks ago too. Lucky for me the damage was very light and their insurance took care of a brand new rear bumper. I just couldn't drive for over 2 weeks! That was the worst part. I hope you car gets fixed with out any issues!

If it's cheap enough wouldn't they just let me pay the difference? I'm not mechanically inclined. I know my computer, but cars not so much.
