stock mufflers
I could not find anything on this site related, so here is my question.
Has anybody else modified their stock mufflers to achieve a more deep sounding aggressive muffler. I am not sure if this can be done or not. It seems that the design is pretty basic except for some sound material and extra sheet metal. But I am not sure of this. Any suggestions? |

you can delete them and add straight pipe. it will make them louder for sure but will add rasp too... if i did a muffler delete i would get a magnaflow res x pipe and call it a day

Thats exactly what I have done. I did a muffler delete and am trying to find ways to get rid of the rasp. Did the x pipe fix the rasp completely?

MRT 2.0 mufflers are cheap, save yourself some time, you will be pleased with their sound.

Our system is just the Magnaflow resx and the 2.5" pipes.

Wow I knew the res x was great for rasp, but surprised it is enough alone with a muffler delete. Interesting.

Kind of confused by what you're asking but the resonated x-pipe is the way to go
