Doesn't sound very bad to me....

Edit: It sounds weak and not that good, but I wouldn't go calling it a POS for a weak exhaust sound... Look at the Camaro v6 exhaust..

It's funny because I think the V6 Camaro has one of the worst exhaust notes stock for a V6 engine and it always seems over done with aftermarket because a lot of people go too loud....

I don't mind how the Toyota sounds though which is super weird cause I generally dislike the sound of lawnmower engines.....

It's hard to make a V6 sound as good as a V8 but it's easy to make an I4 sound as good as a V6 weird how it works......

I highly respect this car. It's great value for the price and will finally get ricers out of their silly Civics and into a real sports car. But, it still sounds like shite.

I wouldn't be so fast to judge. Sure the Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger may be fast in a straight line but all come at a price; the fr-s/brz is not made to compete with these cars, it's made to be affordable and well balanced and not about horsepower. More or less it's more AE86-ish than Supra.

I guess im in the minority. I will acknowledge that this is the "nicest" rice burner to come along in a long while but for me personally if I want a "sports car" im going American with Mustang, camaro, challenger, etc.

I have no problem with people who drive Subaru's or whatever for daily drivers, but sports cars? Nope, always buy American.

affordable, rear wheel drive, manual transmission, cheap tires to replace?

I'd love me one as a daily driver. If only the cobalt was RWD...

Welcome back the evolution of the Hachi Roku (if it can live up to the ancestry.

considering its a 4 cylinder... not that bad. what makes it a POS? because it doesnt have the roar of the 6.2. This is a 2.0 engine, of course its not gonna roar!

If if if, big if. I were ever to drive one of these it would be the Subaru version. That thing would probably be a fun drive because of being AWD.

Sounds as good as any other V-6. Not a fan of the looks though.
