I was kinda hoping for a GI Joe edition myself. Maybe they'll paint it in synergy camouflage metallic.

In my opinion, and many others on this site, for GM to ONLY offer this color on the silly Hotwheels package is a slap in the face.

+10000.

I have been wanting a color like this so bad. I tried to convince myself to buy a ABM after my test drive in 2009. I just couldn't get over the green. I really hope this new color somehow makes it over to the regular lineup.

The only thing I don't like is the price and that you can't get it with a 1LE. Hot wheels isn't my thing but a few emblems wouldn't make me like the car any less. I think the point has been made that this would be a very popular color. Even with Kinetic Blue being attached to this special edition right now I wouldn't rule out it making production or at least something similar.

Tonka only made toy trucks, not cars. You didn't read the thread. People take this kind of thing seriously.

And seriously, Fisher Price could release a Camaro edition and people would get all offended if anyone said anything bad about it.

Apparently, to offer this color, they would have to drop a current color. Well, if so, then what color isn't in production while they make this Hot Wheels edition?

Something that has been around a while, like RY. Then when they do bring back a yellow it could be the proper sunrise yellow like bumblebee.

Course, they could drop VR. Its been out a while too, and there have been plenty of reds/oranges to pick from. They could do something off the wall and bring in a dark emerald metallic as well.

Not going to happen this is a color that is off a 69 hot wheel car and is only for the hot wheel car, that is from Al Oppenheiser.

Baaaaaah! Then GM and their stubborness has lost me as a potential future customer.

Ford has been offering grabber blue for several years now. I'm not buying the GM kool aid anymore about how "hard" it is to put additional colors in the palette.

I am hearing the Chevy is talking to Mattel about coming up with a Barbie and Ken version of his and her Camaros.

Definitely wouldn't surprise me. I'm surprised they haven't released a Barbie corvette.

I like the blue. Very similar to Mopars of the late '60's. it might get me to stick with Camaro next year

Now I worked for Chrysler, and spent a lot of time in the paint room. I don't buy the GM bullshit about being unable to add a color. They are just too cheap to add it. Not THAT difficult to add one, I have seen it done. If Chrysler can do it, is GM saying they don't have the same skills?
