Stock differential upgrades

I'm doing a 4l80e swap next month and also going off the bottle and turboeing the car. I should be around 7-800 rwhp. I know I need axles and will have a one piece driveshaft since I'm swapping trannies. I'm just needing to know what to do inside the rear end. I plan on buying a tru trak locker and aftermarket 3:42 gears. I will be leaving under boost on slicks on the track but the car is built for the street so most abuse is from 30mph+ Any input would be appreciated. I am not swapping to a 9 inch do no need in those questions lol.
Thanks in advance

That's a lot of HP for the stock rear end!!! If you're not willing to swap to 9", Hammerhead, or Dana60, then about all you can do is install the True-Trac, JRE Billet Caps, and a LPW Diff cover. I wish you luck.....you'll need it!!!

Edit...Perhaps, since you've got an automatic it might not be so bad.

You won't have any problems with the stock diff at those power levels with an 80.

Give Jannetty a call, they can steer you in the right direction.

You dont need any of those. A bone stock rear end will live behind a 4l80 at 800hp, the gear ratios are lazy

I don't race all that much, but I do have my diff. setup with exactly what you mentioned, and there is one more member on here that also has the same setup and beats the hell out of it. You should do just fine.
