I would want a car fax. Maybe take it to a trusted mechanic to look it over, check compression, fluids, etc. Check body panel fitment, paint, weird engine noise. That's what I would look for. Hope this helps.

^ This plus look at all the jambs, trunk, hood, doors and fuel door. Any visible blowback from a spray gun? If nothing visible, run your fingers down the edges of the jambs. Should be free of any rough lines, indicating tape marks during a repaint process.

If you live were they do smog check like in Calif. . Make darn sure you get the stock air box and all the stuff that go with the air box. The Cats and Exhaust manifold . If they have put long tube headers on the car you may need to replaces the hold exhaust . If it was me I look for a car as close to stock as you can get .

Check the ID tag in the trunk under the carpet to confirm the 1LE option, for this car, go to the middle, next to the bottom line for 1LE. And to the forum!

All of the typical used car advice applies, especially Ragnar's. I'd also look inside the wheel wells and maybe inside the wheels. If there are lots of rubber "chunks" the car has seen serious track time recently. :-) Not a bad thing but something to be aware of. Look to make sure it has the original wheels. They are very good wheels and are not cheap to replace unless you get a deal from someone on this forum. Look at tire wear, as our tires are also not cheap and are sometimes not available at installers.

One thing else I would check is the rims verify they are actually GM rims and not knock offs. Look for Camaro engraved into each rim.
