with the LS3 90mm throttle body being a slight upgrade for the ZL1

what loss would the LS3 take with the 87 mm ZL1 throttle body?

you want to go from a LS3 90mm throttle body to a smaller LSA 87mm throttle body?

you'll have a little less airflow so a little less power.

I don't think anyone has tested downgrades.

I want the 90mm for my ZL1. But I'd have to put the 87mm on the SS I'm swapping with.

You should be more interested in pulleys, tunes, Cold air kits, headers and bigger intercoolers lol.

It was a free swap that's the only reason I'm thinking about it. Just didnt want to make the SS run like crap in doing so.

Probably won't affect drivability but the SS will lose power with the smaller TB.

Just pick us an LS3 throttle body. Or better yet, a ported LS3 throttle body. Won't be free but I wouldn't downgrade the SS.

I think I would just go to the salvage yard and pull me a LS3 TB for the ZL1. Cant be all that much

We're seeing 550+ RWHP with a cold air intake, throttle body, pulley and a tune, but they are running out of injector. I love the 6l90s in the ZL1s.

I can take a LSA throttle body in exchange for the LS3 throttle body if you'd like.

I've got a big list of mods I want to do. By the time I get enough of them done to get it tuned I'll prob just pay the 150 ish for the new throttle body and keep my lsa pulley if I ever return to stock.
