LSA throttle body on LS3 car
with the LS3 90mm throttle body being a slight upgrade for the ZL1
what loss would the LS3 take with the 87 mm ZL1 throttle body?

you want to go from a LS3 90mm throttle body to a smaller LSA 87mm throttle body?
you'll have a little less airflow so a little less power. |

I want the 90mm for my ZL1. But I'd have to put the 87mm on the SS I'm swapping with.

You should be more interested in pulleys, tunes, Cold air kits, headers and bigger intercoolers lol.

It was a free swap that's the only reason I'm thinking about it. Just didnt want to make the SS run like crap in doing so.

Probably won't affect drivability but the SS will lose power with the smaller TB.

I think I would just go to the salvage yard and pull me a LS3 TB for the ZL1. Cant be all that much

I've got a big list of mods I want to do. By the time I get enough of them done to get it tuned I'll prob just pay the 150 ish for the new throttle body and keep my lsa pulley if I ever return to stock.
