Do you mean the bowties? If so they offer decals for them I would go this route first to make sue you like them painted.

Yes bowties....No stickers for me...I want to paint the gold part silver then clear coat them. So "bowties" i guess thats what you call them. Silver centers with the chrome outer. So how do you take them off? Especially the rears. Are the just double sided tape or are they riveted? Or maybe the fronts all silver and then the rears middle siver with chrome outer.

well i would just go order a new set from your dealer and have them painted they only cost me like 35 to 40$ for both plus price of having painted and you don't have to ride around for a few days minus emblems.
mine are painted white now and you get to keep the originals however the front bow tie was not as easy to remove (for me at least) as people say

I also bought extra front and rear bowties before i painted mine.
All you have to do to get the front one off, is reach in on both sides of the bowtie, through the grille, find the 4 tabs that hold it on, and push each tab out, towards you, and kinda pull the whole thing out. Very easy, and you dont have to take anything apart. To disassemble them to paint them see my post on this thread http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42217
