Mustang Pricing is Up

Base V6: $22995.00 with delivery
Premium V6: $26695.00 with delivery
Base GT: $30496 with delivery
Premium GT: $33695.00 with delivery

The Brembo brake package will add $1695.00 to the GT's msrp and includes 19inch wheels and summer tires.

The 3.73:1 rear axle ratio will add $395.00 to the msrp.

Both appear to be available on the base GT, which means you wont have to order a Premium Package car to get it as was the case with the Track Pack.

The pricing is reasonable and if it not a requirement to a Have premium to get the brembo then thats great.

I hope they change it so you dont have to get the premium GT just to get the glassroof too.

Can you post the source?

Waiting for people like you to forget they said it !

Hehe. Yeah it was said that the 2010 guys paid the price for 2011...well so be it. But those prices are pretty dead on what was said they would be. I guess its on now.

The sides have entrenched, targeting systems up. I guess dodge is deciding whether they are coming to the party.....they better hurry though, before a import takes a seat at the table spot reserved for them.

Dodge needs to step up the game. They rode a good wave with the introduction of the Challenger, but they now face a serious Mustang competitor, rumors of a Z28, and a price differential that makes their products out of mind for buyers in this market.

so in comparison, the 2011 mustang is a few hundred over the 2SS MSRP? Do I have that correct?

dodge is fine.....they have the 6.4 and sublime(prop #1 or 2 top colors among us mopar guys) coming in 2011. so of course the camaro and gt will be slightly faster but the challenger will be there amongst its detroit brothers. the only thing that sucks is since it's a low volume car they really dont see the need to really push the challenger to it's limits.

And that can be a mistake. With Toyota jumping back into the market, the Z firmly entrench, and Hyundai not doing bad, Dodge cannot afford to keep the "blew blew" attitude about its performer. If nothing else the car needs to com down to reality in pricing, and they need to start making some moves sooner than later.

IMO of course
