Great looking garage! The hard work now is keeping it from getting cluttered up...

And great product placement wearing the Camaro5 tshirt!

Yeah I think I'll start with something a bit less...uhhh... fatal?

Tag, I'm hoping you'll give us lots of details when you start on the floor. I've done some spot treating with Simple Green but it only really removes surface goo, and the stains remain. My floor isn't sealed so I think that's why I'm not seeing very good results. I may have to go the same route you do with the muratic acid wash and then seal, so I'll be watching your thread with great interest. Thanks man.

I'll post up some details. My floor is HORRIBLE...extremely dirty. There's stuff of all sorts on the concrete so I don't know just how well all the acid wash will work. But, we'll give it a go!

I've had a little experience with floor coatings. They are great but, unless you get the concrete PERFECTLY clean, you may have issues with peeling on whatever coating you put down. Have you looked into a rubberized tile? I don't know what the cost difference is but going through all that surface prep only to have the coating peel up really sucks.

Just something to consider. Your garage looks great!
