My daily driver is a red '94 Z28 vert M6 with a 383 stroker. Has been for 15 years since I bought it new.

I think it looks good with the top up, but the whole point of the thing is with the top down. A soft top is lighter, cheaper, folds away and doesn't eat your trunk space. I'll take it every time.

You're either a convertible fan, or you're not. The classic American convertible is a soft top, and the Camaro is designed as a "classic" American car. I love the look of the 2011 vert and will drive an SS daily when they become available.

Two antennas and that shark fin on the trunk is yuck....

Not a fan of this one... hard top would have been way better!

Anyone know how much trunk space there will be in this once the roof is down?

Wonder if that 3rd window will roll down. I really wish it would in the hard top for old time sake not that anyone rides back there anyway. :-)

3rd window? which one is that?
If you mean the rear quarter windows they will either go down with the top or they will have their own switches... they would look dorky if they didn't go down..

Come on guys, think about it , A Camaro with a hardtop convertible top.. How much do you think that would cost? you are going to put it into Corvette territory.. this is an everymans car.. it had to have compromises somewhere, shark fin, radio antenna, top (which I think compaired to other convertibles looks dang good) it all works for the Camaro to help keep the costs inline so they can get it past the beancounters and into production.

It's so hard to make a car convertible with it looks great in Hardtop.

I was thinking that too... have the quarter window operable and then see what it would take to roll that into the coupe as a mod. Yeah I know... structural integrity... A guy can dream can't he?? The Vert looks nice. I am sure the fitment attachments will change as they massage the details. I was orginally a Vert waiter... now Z... but could go back to Vert!
