ZL1 front fascia

how much does it cost to buy? & those of you that have it, about how much does installation cost? id love to get one & have my RS badge on the grille. I love the way it looks, chevy did a great job

The whole kit to install the swap costs around $1,100 plus shipping plus paint. You can install it yourself pretty easily. I think the absolute cheapest you will get it done is around $1,500.

Do you have to change the hood too? It looks like the contour of the ZL1 fascia is wider than the standard Camaro fascia.

If you want the lines to match,yes..It cost about $3500 or so to do it the right way,inner fenders,correct bolts,lights etc...

That's what I thought. The dip in the fascia for the SS is narrow to match the mail slot but I did think it was wider on the ZL1 to match the width of the entire cowl.

No need for a new hood you can have your body shop move the hood lines on the bumper to match up. I purcahsed my Kit from Gary's Customs and he moved the lines (see photo below)

There will many wrecked zl1's hitting the junkyards soon. You can prob get a good hood/bumper deal on a rear damaged zl1 with a clean front end.

I'm getting mine done right now. Main issue is cowl lines need to be modified, if using a hood with the stock SS hood lines. Still, not a big issue. All things considered, not cheap, but if you like the look, roll with it.
