Actual production of 2013 Camaros with the MyLink2 NAV system starts on 8-20-2012, and yes they are now taking oders for cars that have that featue now.

Do you mean built-in NAV not the On-Star where you can currently download NAV instructions?

I agree. I like the tech, however it looks out of place and typical GM clunky styling. I think GM missed the mark on this one. It looks awful.

Yes, the system that the OP posted pictures of is the one WITHOUT the built in NAV. The system WITH the built in NAV has different buttons on the right side as stated in my earlier post and YES the NAV system does NOT require OnStar. It is similar to the NAV system in my Dodge Magnum where you enter all the information without having to push a button and tell someone where you want to go.

Interesting all this talk about cd's, ipods, bluetooth, when all the bands are going back to vineal interesting I guess the slot would be to big for a 331/3 lol.

if you also look intoo the other features on the new system you will find ih the home mode go to the last page it will have pic. mode put a bunch of photos they need to be smaller mb pics. but put them on thumb drive then push play button only works when car is parked but cool feature to have at car shows ! i have mine run pics. of car shows that ive been too ! love the new system !

I don't really like it. I will stick with my Alpine, it has bluetooth, cd/dvd, Ipod hookup, GPS NAV, XM/Siruis and looks better.

As for the design, there's really no other way to integrate it into the existing dash/switchgear.
