headers only a problem when you get it smogged, which you may have to do before getting it registered, if they are not 50 state CARB headers, they will fail the visual portion of the smog test. it is getting harder to find smog techs with eye problems, since the fine amounts have gone up significantly, but there are some out there.

Ok, the Thorley site says all their headers are 50 state smog tested and will pass. I will look into it further.

I know that cops are big on tint over there.. I had like 2 tixs before... We shall see..

The DMV is no picnic in the state of California and neither are moving violations. The state wants your money anyway they can get it. I am speaking from experience.

Yes, there is no visual inspection of your car.

Honestly tho some of these ticket prices in CA are ridiculous . Yea of course don't do it if you don't want to pay the price but damn Los Angeles Ticket prices don't play and even if you plead not guilty you have to pay in order to have a trial an if you win it takes 2 months to receive the money back Cali wants your money !
