If I decide to get a SS/RS I'll have my local dealer paint the stripes on. They quoted me $400 to do some on my Silverado SS so it will probably be pretty close for the SS/RS. I saw a pickup they did and it was really nice.

I COULD BE WRONG. Because they looked too damn good to be decals. If this is what decals are like, they looked perfect!!!

The stripes on the concept convert. are paint.......

Thanks for clearing that up, it did look too shiny at first for it to be a decal..

Just want to add my .02 to this. I own an '86 Mustang GT (I know, don't flame me). It has the vinyl stripe on the hood (no clear coat) from the factory. After 22 years, 88k miles and many car washs (hand and power), there is no indication it wants to come off.

Thats sweet to know thx: ) for the info: )

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, but I'm a proud owner of a 2010 SS2 Rally Yellow Camaro. Just got it like 4 days ago: ) Waited since October of 2008.

Last Camaro I had was a 1985 midnight Blue T-top with the Iroc body style back when I was in highschool, of course when I was in HS the car was already 10 plus years old: )

I'm actually going through the same problem. I got my rally stripes put on the other day and was so excited to finally see it. But finally seeing it for the first time with the stock stripes I was mortified by its look: (

I decided to either actually have them custom painted on, but then Findlaycustoms.com recommended going possible vinyl. I'm hoping to see what it looks like in person, I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures to share with others who may be going this route.

From those images the vinyl look pretty damn good: )

Also my car is being used for the Transformers 2 movie premier at Palms casino in Las Vegas on the 24th. Pretty exciting. So I def want the bumble bee rally look.

I figured I would throw this out there as well. Not that it's important, I actually sold the Transformersmovie.com website to paramount which basically funded my independent movie Ominous, and now my own Camaro is being used for the Transformers 2 premier in Vegas.

Here are some pics of the camaro before the stock stripes, I'll post the ones with the stripes ASAP.

You can power wash the vehicle, just don't spray the sides of the stripes directly.. remember, these are just stickers and high pressured water is just that, powerful water.
