Although it would be great exposure for Chevy to air a commercial for the Camaro during the game, the cost is something that would be foolish for GM to cough up at this time. Like has been said already. You just begged for a bailout and you spend a couple of million of it on 1 commercial?? Loan denied. Don't give Peloci and Franks any ammunition to shoot the wounded horse (GM). Because I have a feeling that they would love to.

If GM was to have a commercial in the Superbowl it was be more foolish than taking the private jets to Washington to ask for a 34 billion dollar loan. If we thought the media made a big deal out of that, could you imagine what they would have to say about a GM superbowl commercial?

I laugh at congress sitting on their high horse trying to tell gm not to drive planes or waste money

when congress and government has wasted more money than any other company in the world

i mean the government hasn't turned a profit in like 5 decades...if they were a business and couldn't print or borrow money we would have closed up shop decades ago

I think it is $3 million for a 30 second ad. So I don't think GM is going to be running those. Their biggest deal is coming up at Daytona which is BIG.

GM money would be better served paying drivers to wreck so they can get their car on the track more.

I like to see some wrecks as long as nothing happens like it did for Old Number 3

Check my transformers 2 thread, there's a link to all the commercials for the superbowl with company, what they are, and who's producing them.

A Superbowl ad would not be a wise move on GM's part. They are to show restraint and fiscal responsibility...although our tax dollars are given to various banking institutions without any direction!!!
