2.5" for true dual exhaust is good. You would need upwards of 700 hp to benefit from a 3" exhaust.

IF a Z28 is done and they wanted to stick with the heritage of the Z28. It should have smaller engine, lighter body, more geared to SCCA, maybe IROC someday. If the "other" more coveted Camaro is a ZL1. Then I think it should be the ultimate Camaro. Whatever the heritage. Luxurious, porwerful, stylish, and functional. Go after after Porsche, Benz, Lambos, Feraris. This car is so awesome. I think it could take em if properly equipped. Oh and.......off topic....but, does anyone else think it needs cornering lamps? Be nice to have a dark corner lit up as you make your turns at night. Performance models should definitely have these.

ZL1 should no doubt have the LS9. Holy cow, I got to drive a ZR1 with 146 miles on it yesterday and what an animal and way more refined over the typical C6. The Camaro would be so pimp with that powerplant. As far as the Z/28 goes I think an LS3 6spped or auto with a more aggressive cam profile for that DZ302 or early LT1 idle sound and maybe a slightly lower stance for looks and handling.

It would be great to see a 400hp 5-5.3 ish liter Gen 5 v8 in a Z/28. Lightened, with adjustable track suspension and a 1LE option. In racing green please. Leave the magnetic ride for the ZL1.

I wouldn't buy one if it didn't have a back seat. I have a 5 year old that I have to haul around occasionally.

Why make a four-place car without four seats?... This isn't a CobraR or something like that (well, that remains to be seen, lol), but Z28 has never been like that from the factory. No interest in that from this humble person
I like the idea of a Gen V, but, at least in terms of straighline performance, in order for it to be significant, to me anyways, would be to lighten it something like 600+ pounds if it's only going to have 400 horse'; I just don't see that happening though. I'd see the magnetic ride at home on Z28 more than a strip car though
