Details A low pressure system south of Lake Huron is extending a warm front toward the Montérégie, then to the Southern Eastern Townships. The front will remain more or less stationary during the next 24 hours as the low pressure system moves toward Montréal. Along and south of the front, freezing rain and ice pellets will continue at least through Monday morning. Further north, bands of snow and ice pellets will affect many regions. Strong and locally severe northeasterly winds will also cause blowing snow. People in affected areas should consider delaying or even cancelling their travel plans. Road conditions may deteriorate rapidly. Watch the snow and ice pellet amounts on roofs as they could become a problem.
