Remebering 911 where were you?
I was working at the local school district doing bond funded construction on their small crew of us carpenters doing jobs remodeling schools and all the stuff major contractors did not on new schools. I remember the second they said it on the radio and my swearing it was the GD terrorists when the first plane hit.
I salute all our members and fellow Americans who it impacted the most, the Fire fighters the Police and Armed Services. I remember being sad and angry as hell at the same time. Please share your recollections of the time with others, we were all attacked. I am a disabled only 10% vet Army Infantry now thank god, wife: former Army also both working in corrections we know this impacted all. And GOD Bless the United States of America.

I was on the flight line at Hurlburt AFB doing pre-dock engine runs on a AC-130U gunship. Called into the flight Chiefs office and was told to go home and pack my bags because I was leaving at midnight.
90% disabled and medically retired as a Staff sergeant USAF...AIM HIGH!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was in Las Vegas on business. I remember waking up and turning the tv on and seeing video footage, not really paying attention to the audio. For a minute I was thinking the video footage was not real and then I finally realized what was going on.

School right across the river from the towers in NJ. Could see it from the top floor of my school. Remember it vividly.

I lived in Houston at the time. I was in the Computer Room at work... walked out to my cube, nobody was in the office... walked in to the Break Room, and everyone was watching the TV... that's when the second plane hit.

I was stationed in Hawaii, but was on temporary duty to San Antonio for training at the time. Will never forget walking into the training facility that morning and seeing the news showing the planes hitting the towers ...

Getting ready for work(large hospital in Vegas)....heard the now ex-husband yell when first plane hit(thought it was a movie at first)...saw the second plane hit. Hit very close to home....he used to work at WTC trading commodities. So he had lots of friends still working there even though we had moved to Vegas in 1985.My temporary profile pic on FB this week

I was at home and my mom woke me up yelling "we're being attacked" I remember watching the whole thing on tv and tears coming down my face.

I was at work. Had to go get propane for our hi low fork trucks, heard about it on he radio. It was one loong shift. Got home and saw the video, unreal.
